The US Lacrosse - Gulf Coast Chapter represents a broad and diverse lacrosse constituency. From boy's and girl's youth/recreation players, through sanctioned and club high school teams, elite off-season programs, and adult leagues and tournaments, our Chapter seeks to ensure the inclusive engagement and representation of all stakeholders. We offer a range of services and activities for players, coaches, officials, administrators and fans of the sport, and constantly seek to identify ways to communicate and engage our community in deeper and more meaningful ways.
Our primary purpose and objective is to grow the sport in our community and ensure that sufficient and continual developmental opportunities exist for all stakeholders committed and passionate about their growth. We work hand-in-hand, and in collaborative fashion with our national governing body, US Lacrosse, and interface regularly with USL to deliver state-of-the-art programming and services.
In addition to our constituents and stakeholders, our Chapter covers a broad geographic region on the West Coast of Florida from Lakeland down through Tampa Bay, Bradenton/Sarasota, Ft. Myers, and Naples. We always seek balanced representation from these major areas of our Chapter, especially in functions such as Board leadership, committee appointments, and a variety of other one-off activities. Communication throughout our Chapter is always Priority #1, and we are constantly seeking ways to leverage technology and basic human interaction to share and extend our Chapter's goals, objectives, and efforts.
